FAQ

To donate $10,000+ to a local charity in a 1 hour meeting: 

• All donations will be given to charities or causes serving the local area 
• No national charities will be considered; however, local branches of national charities are eligible for consideration .

Women of St. Croix Valley who want to: 

• Make a difference in our local community 
• Network & make connections with other St. Croix Valley women

Donate $100 twice a year ($200 yearly ) 

• $100 goes to Power of 100+ Women of St. Croix Valley majority voted organization; even if attendee did not vote for the majority-voted charity 

Seeks areas of community need to bring to the Power of 100+ Women of St. Croix Valley

•  Nominate a local charity/cause
•  If your nominated charity is selected, you will report back to the group about the impact of the Impact Award donation 

Attends meeting to submit a vote  

• Attendance is required to be eligible to cast a vote 

Unable to attend any given meeting during the year...

• A check may be given to a fellow member upon which will be delivered on your behalf
• Send your donation directly to the winning organization

Agrees that the Power of 100+ Women of St. Croix Valley’s directory shall be used for the organization’s purposes only.  The directory and attendee information distributed by the organization will not be used for any other purpose, including but not limited to, personal, business or political. 

Understands their $100 donation will join forces with the contributions of all attendees cumulating an impactful $10,000+ donation in one hour!   

Meetings held within the St. Croix Valley 

• Spring Meeting in April/May

• Fall Meeting October/November 

Meetings are 1-hour and are held 2 times a year

At each meeting, 3 local charities give a 5-minute presentation.  A quick Q&A will follow each presentation.   

• These charities are nominated by any attendee 
• These charities meet the Power of 100; Women of St. Croix Valley charity criteria 

By ballot, attendees will vote individually for one of the three charities to receive the collective POWER of 100 IMPACT AWARD!   

• Majority vote rules 
• All attendees are expected to donate to the “majority vote” charity 
• Some people may want to bring more than one check and donate to all the causes presented 
• If a tie vote, then each organization splits the total raised 

Each attendee donates $100 cash or check directly to the voted charity

• Organizations/causes must have 501(c)(3) status. 
• Serves the local communities  
• Two years after being selected for the group’s Power of 100 IMPACT AWARD, attendees may re-submit IMACT AWARD winner for another nomination. 
• The two remaining charities not selected for Power of 100 IMPACT AWARD, are eligible to be selected to present again at future meetings.
