(Lucia Bell, Darcy Kealy, Heidi Gilbert, Laura Foster)
Lucia’s High School quote: I am going to travel the world and be the last one to marry!!!! (did you get the exclamation points?) Well, she did & continues to travel the world. However, she was the first to marry…to a handsome, energetic USAF Lt. Brian Bell (call sign Taco or Big B)! Lesson learned: never say never☺ The USAF afforded many opportunities to move (9), immerse in new cultures & be a part of the USAF community. The Bell family of 4 (Erik born in Japan, Kristian in North Pole AK) touched down in Hudson WI 2002. Once settled, Lucia finally was able to earn her Masters degree in Education, the family welcomed daughter/sister Sonja from Korea and then Lucia went onto teaching raging hormones (8th graders) math. Since retiring from teaching, you will find Lucia active in community organizations. Currently Lucia is trained in the Salvation Army National Disaster Response Team…and also here with the POWER of 100+ Women of St. Croix Valley…a community of women who want and do make a difference. Peace-n-Love
Shelli has always been passionate about flowers and the entrepreneurial spirit.. So it comes as no surprise to those who know her that she would dedicate her working life to operating a retail floral shop. She began her journey working for a small family owned flower shop in Minneapolis Minnesota. Being family owned she had an excellent opportunity to learn about retail floral and operating a small business. When presented with an opportunity to purchase an established retail flower shop in Downtown Hudson Wisconsin she leapt at the chance. That was over 25 years ago. Currently she shares her experience and knowledge with other inspiring shop owners and designers as an instructor at Koehler Dramm's Institute of Floristry in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Shelli believes in the Power of 100 and the dramatic impact made in one evening by just 100 women. Never underestimate the power of the collective.

Over 15 years ago, Bridget and Tom (her energetic and hilarious husband) spent most summer weekends sailing the St. Croix River. They knew they eventually wanted to move from Uptown and make this beautiful area their home. 5 years later, they moved to North Hudson with their two children, Liam and Lucy (now 14 and 13 years old respectively). While Bridget spends a lot of her time managing their home and driving their kids to basketball, gymnastics, and their countless activities, she is also a marriage and family therapist. She has a private practice in St. Paul, just above WA Frost. She is a local expert in Discernment Counseling and loves to do the challenging work of couples therapy. She also has a deep love for yoga and all its spiritual teachings. She has completed her 500 hour yoga teacher training. In 2019, she had the great privilege of traveling to India to participate in an ancient practice at the Kumbha Mela. It was life-changing! In her spare time (hah! what’s that?) , Bridget loves traveling with her family, hiking anywhere especially Willow River and Perch Lake, and attending music festivals with friends. She loves all forms of music but her current favorite is Trevor Hall! Listen sometime, his music is dreamy! Bridget’s heart is full of gratitude for all the blessings she has had in her life. She is honored to be a part of The Power of 100 here in St. Croix Valley. She welcomes this opportunity to give back to this rich community and to help cultivate an even greater bond amongst its members. She looks forward to meeting each and every one of you!
Sarah moved to Hudson in 2008 and has affectionately called it “home” ever since. Growing up in western Wisconsin, she finished her BA in Speech Communication/Organizational Development at Northern Kentucky University, spent ten years in Atlanta before landing back in the Midwest.
Sarah’s work (and heart’s passion) is people. She travels the country (and Zoom, Teams and WebEx 😊) consulting, coaching and facilitating business professionals on their presence, communication and personal brand. She consults with organizations to identify leadership gaps and designs programs or solutions to improve the overall employee experience and development.
In 2019, Sarah and her husband, Eric opened The Zone – a class-based fitness studio in Hudson, giving community members a safe place to get healthier and have fun doing it! Fun fact! Sarah scampered her way to the finish line of the New York City Marathon in 2021 for the Michael J Fox Foundation. That was her first marathon and will “lovingly” be her last!
Sarah is the mom of three great kiddos who hold the biggest part of her heart, Claire (19), Garrett (17 and Alex (17). She’s not-so-anxiously anticipating being an empty nester.
Foodies at heart, Sarah and Eric can be spotted on the weekends at the local Hudson and Stillwater eateries or walking their Golden/Collie, Mika by the river. She looks forward to watching the membership of Power of 100 grow and supporting our local organizations doing such great things.
