(Lucia Bell, Darcy Kealy, Heidi Gilbert, Laura Foster)
Lucia’s High School quote: I am going to travel the world and be the last one to marry!!!! (did you get the exclamation points?) Well, she did & continues to travel the world. However, she was the first to marry…to a handsome, energetic USAF Lt. Brian Bell (call sign Taco or Big B)! Lesson learned: never say never☺ The USAF afforded many opportunities to move (9), immerse in new cultures & be a part of the USAF community. The Bell family of 4 (Erik born in Japan, Kristian in North Pole AK) touched down in Hudson WI 2002. Once settled, Lucia finally was able to earn her Masters degree in Education, the family welcomed daughter/sister Sonja from Korea and then Lucia went onto teaching raging hormones (8th graders) math. Since retiring from teaching, you will find Lucia active in community organizations. Currently Lucia is trained in the Salvation Army National Disaster Response Team…and also here with the POWER of 100+ Women of St. Croix Valley…a community of women who want and do make a difference. Peace-n-Love
Shelli has always been passionate about flowers and the entrepreneurial spirit.. So it comes as no surprise to those who know her that she would dedicate her working life to operating a retail floral shop. She began her journey working for a small family owned flower shop in Minneapolis Minnesota. Being family owned she had an excellent opportunity to learn about retail floral and operating a small business. When presented with an opportunity to purchase an established retail flower shop in Downtown Hudson Wisconsin she leapt at the chance. That was over 25 years ago. Currently she shares her experience and knowledge with other inspiring shop owners and designers as an instructor at Koehler Dramm's Institute of Floristry in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Shelli believes in the Power of 100 and the dramatic impact made in one evening by just 100 women. Never underestimate the power of the collective.

Jaimee, a native of the Midwest hailing from St. Joseph, MN, embodies a life marked by purposeful transitions and a commitment to making a positive impact. Her journey commenced at St. Cloud State University, leading her to culminate her academic pursuits at Herzing College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. For eight years, Jaimee honed her skills as a dental hygienist, providing exemplary care and fostering relationships with patients. However, destiny had more in store for her when she welcomed her first daughter into the world, prompting her to embrace the profound role of motherhood. Recognizing that this new chapter held a distinct calling, Jaimee gracefully pivoted her focus to her family, eventually becoming a cherished mama to three blessings. The heartbeat of Jaimee's existence revolves around her children, fueling her unwavering aspiration to evolve as an individual and infuse each day with positivity. Guided by her innate love for human connection, she has consistently demonstrated a penchant for working alongside others to create meaningful change. Jaimee's dedication to community betterment was illuminated upon her involvement with the Power of 100, an experience that crystallized her desire to contribute on a broader scale. This realization catalyzed her decision to join our esteemed team, a decision that promises to amplify her ability to effect transformation within our community. Beyond her professional pursuits, Jaimee thrives in the company of loved ones, cherishing moments spent skiing through mountains and cruising along the picturesque St. Croix River. Her adventurous spirit extends to the golf course, where her enthusiasm for driving the golf cart often eclipses her golfing prowess.
Over 15 years ago, Bridget and Tom (her energetic and hilarious husband) spent most summer weekends sailing the St. Croix River. They knew they eventually wanted to move from Uptown and make this beautiful area their home. 5 years later, they moved to North Hudson with their two children, Liam and Lucy (now 14 and 13 years old respectively). While Bridget spends a lot of her time managing their home and driving their kids to basketball, gymnastics, and their countless activities, she is also a marriage and family therapist. She has a private practice in St. Paul, just above WA Frost. She is a local expert in Discernment Counseling and loves to do the challenging work of couples therapy. She also has a deep love for yoga and all its spiritual teachings. She has completed her 500 hour yoga teacher training. In 2019, she had the great privilege of traveling to India to participate in an ancient practice at the Kumbha Mela. It was life-changing! In her spare time (hah! what’s that?) , Bridget loves traveling with her family, hiking anywhere especially Willow River and Perch Lake, and attending music festivals with friends. She loves all forms of music but her current favorite is Trevor Hall! Listen sometime, his music is dreamy! Bridget’s heart is full of gratitude for all the blessings she has had in her life. She is honored to be a part of The Power of 100 here in St. Croix Valley. She welcomes this opportunity to give back to this rich community and to help cultivate an even greater bond amongst its members. She looks forward to meeting each and every one of you!
Although Kathy has spent the last 20+ years in living in the St. Croix Valley, she is a relative newcomer to Hudson. Moving to the downtown area in March of 2020 (yes, she was the last truckload the moving company accepted before the Pandemic shut everything down!), she has grown to love the vibrancy and openness of the community.
Kathy has enjoyed volunteering with a variety of nonprofits in the Valley. While raising and homeschooling her four children (Thomas, Susanna, Amalia, and Isabella), she was active as a children’s ministry leader at Trinity Church in Hudson, spent many years as the president of the Heartstrings Violin Studio Board in River Falls, and co-chaired numerous Belle Ballet productions in Stillwater.
She is currently employed as the Volunteer Manager with Adoray Home Health and Hospice in Baldwin, WI. Kathy loves recruiting and coaching the hospice volunteer team, as well as innovating to better serve the patients and their families. In April she was trained as an End-of-Life Doula through INELDA and is developing a program supporting the dying through legacy work, vigil planning, and end of life resolution. She is also a facilitator and ambassador for the Opus Peace Institute, an international organization which focuses on education and healing soul injuries in veterans.
When not busy with work or family, you can find Kathy attempting to play pickleball, on her yoga mat, alpine skiing, traveling, or spending time at her cabin in Spooner. You may also see her strolling the streets of Hudson with her ferocious, 6-lb poodle Rihanna. If you do, be sure to say “hello.” She is eager to get to know the Hudson community better and is honored to be a part of The Power of 100 in St. Croix Valley.
A nonprofit is as strong as the community that holds it up. Together, we can do more than we can do alone. Let's bring our abilities and passions together to affect real change.
